Give your training a tune-up with the Garmin Forerunner 645 Music.
Garmin designed the Forerunner 645 Music to help you train and recover better. With built-in GPS tracking, the smart running watch will keep up with your pace and distance while a wrist-based heart rate monitor evaluates your current training status.
The 645 now lets you upload as many as 500 of your favorite songs so you can leave your phone at home. Paired with Bluetooth headphones, you can now have your tunes and run with them, too.
But it doesn't stop with music: With a week of battery life in smartwatch mode and five hours in GPS mode, the 645 takes biomechanical measurements like running cadence, stride length, vertical oscillation and ground contact time to help fine-tune your runs. Plus, it's waterproof so you don't have to worry about it in the pool or shower.
In the Garmin Forerunner 645 Music review, a Fleet Feet tester used the watch to track his pace and time on a nighttime fartlek. He praised the watch's backlit screen for illuminating the watch in the dark to help him track his workout.
