New Balance gave the Hierro a full-length Fresh Foam midsole and tuned it for a soft, comfortable ride. Designers mated the Fresh Foam to a Vibram MegaGrip outsole for improved traction on wet and slippery surfaces.
The Hierro v5 gains additional off-road traction from a host of multi-directional lugs that dig into trail so you stay on your feet no matter the conditions.
